About The Position

In this position, you will be part of a Tektronix New Product Launch team that will introduce new products into the manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, organizing manufacturing-related activities, and ensure objectives are accomplished to meet production ramp requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of electronics manufacturing-related experience
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time
• Depth of knowledge and experience in New Product Development processes
• Ability to quickly drive, communicate and gain support for decisions in ambiguous and unstructured environments
• Results-oriented team player who leads by example, holds one’s self accountable for performance, takes ownership, and champions process improvement initiatives
• Manufacturing cost drivers at both Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) and product level, and a deep understanding of how to influence those costs to maximize operational efficiency and gross margins
• Strong English language written and verbal communication skills

• MBA or equivalent
• PMI certification(s)
• 2+ years of program/project management experience on complex products
• Microsoft Power BI suite of products

Responsibilities

• Leading global manufacturing core teams on Test & Measurement instrument New Product Development (NPD) programs
• Representing the Manufacturing organization on NPD core teams, and articulating program information and strategies back to Manufacturing management
• Coordinating development of program manufacturing, test, and materials plans
• Working with engineering and materials teams to develop and track product cost estimates
• Working with product development program manager to ensure available tooling and test equipment capacity to support manufacturing ramp and steady state production
