About The Position

As a New Plant Project Manager, you will plan, execute, and lead Instrumentation and Control (I&C) activities for major new plant projects AP1000 or AP300. You will work closely with applicable I&C and project leadership to manage engagements with key program stakeholders. You will report to the Manager, AP300 I&C Projects. This is a mobile role that can be performed primarily from our Cranberry Township, PA, Warrendale, PA and/or New Stanton, PA facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of relevant technical experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of collaborative data management, automation, and formatting techniques using Microsoft applications
  • Experience developing and implementing scope, schedule and budget plans to successful completion
  • Familiarilty with the Project Management Institute (PMI®)'s Project Management Body of Knowledge required. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification or other approved equivalent project management certification is desired or otherwise required to be completed within 1 year

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the commercial nuclear industry, global work experience and business acumen are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: directly supporting the I&C managed scope for new plant offers and/or project execution
  • Lead scope management, schedule status and modifications, and provide monthly reporting.
  • Project manage delivery of the I&C project scope and coordinate with team members.
  • Communicate program updates with internal leadership for the new plant project organization
  • Support the existing I&C project management organization
  • Support proposal efforts for new bids
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders in the I&C organization and support release to manufacturing activities with our sub suppliers and vendors
  • Build capacity and knowledge of each key stakeholder to ensure effective communication outcomes by clearly defining lines of communication.
  • Identify stakeholder issues, interests, and concerns to better define program alignment and provide direct technical input/feedback to the project team
  • Update and maintain risk register for assigned projects.
  • Manage project milestones
