About The Position

The US Oncology Network is looking for a New Patient Coordinator to join their team at Texas Oncology. This full-time position will support the Revenue Cycle Department at their 11130 Christus Hills Suite 210 clinic in San Antonio, Texas. The typical work week is Monday through Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p. This role operates in an admission-driven environment with a collaborative culture, offering stability and purpose within the department and organization. As part of The US Oncology Network, Texas Oncology delivers high-quality, evidence-based care to patients close to home. Texas Oncology is the largest community oncology provider in the country, with approximately 530 providers in over 280 sites across Texas. The New Patient Coordinator, under direct supervision, is responsible for new patient coordination activities. These activities may include account and insurance registration and scheduling of new patients for exams and procedures. The role involves maintaining patient records, preparing forms, verifying information, and resolving routine and non-routine problems. The position requires following standard procedures and pre-established guidelines to complete tasks, and supporting and adhering to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, and US Oncology’s Shared Values.
