About The Position

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is actively recruiting new nurse graduates who are interested in supporting its nonprofit mission to provide individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease. The New Nurse Graduate will provide specialized nursing care within one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis or hospital services units, working as part of a patient care team. RNs are crucial in ensuring safe care and prioritizing the highest quality outcomes for every patient.

  • Dialysis experience not required

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
  • Prepare dialysis machine and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
  • Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching, including relevant documentation
  • Administer and chart all prescribed medications under supervision of registered nurse
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance
  • Contribute to training new staff members as directed
  • Additional tasks as requested
