The Sales Associate will support the New Home Sales Consultant (NHC) in the sales process, learning and developing skills in sales, marketing, and customer service. Responsibilities include conducting competitive analyses, visiting real estate offices, maintaining community presentation, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Florida Real Estate license required.
  • Ability to work independently and without direction or immediate supervision.

  • Ability to interpret, analyze and evaluate given information relative to selling techniques and potential homebuyer concerns, needs, and issues.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the New Home Sales Consultant (NHC) in participating in the sales process with customers for new home sales.
  • Learn, practice, and develop essential skills in sales and marketing techniques, and apply Company guidelines.
  • Perform monthly competitive analyses to increase knowledge of communities.
  • Assist the NHC in weekly Real Estate office visits.
  • Maintain the integrity of assigned community(s) on a daily basis.
  • Develop customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in all sales and training meetings with NHCs.
  • Represent M/I Homes in a professional manner with a positive attitude.
  • Support the NHC in developing a sales and marketing business plan.
  • Use selling skills acquired through company training programs with all customers.
  • Be punctual and open models as advertised, arriving 15 minutes prior to posted opening hours.
  • Register customers and input their information in the Pivotal system.
  • Demonstrate models, inventory homes, and homesites to customers and realtors, discussing features and benefits.
  • Provide customers with information on community, pricing, and available financing programs.
  • Assist the NHC in developing working relationships with realtors through various marketing efforts.
  • Assist the NHC throughout the sales and selection process.
  • Prepare necessary documents with homebuyers in the absence of the NHC.
  • Assist NHCs in creating their marketing/business plan.
  • Drive community daily to ensure signage is clean and accurate, and report any maintenance needs.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.
