About The Position

Tri Pointe Homes Colorado is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our talented group as a New Home Advisor near Commerce City. This position is responsible for selling homes through optimizing the new home sales and the customer experience in assigned community(ies).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year previous sales experience required.
  • Knowledge of sales programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Current working knowledge of homebuilding and the residential real estate industry.
  • Ability to prepare, plan and deliver clear and persuasive sales presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Real estate license, if required by state law.
  • New home sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Actively tours model homes with prospective buyers and engages in the Company's defined selling process during product tours to deliver an effective sales presentation, including asking multiple closing-related questions and confirming return visits.
  • Takes prospective buyers to various homesites within the community, including production homesites, to familiarize them with the community layout, understanding where homes will be built, property lines, and neighboring structures.
  • Manages backlog, maintaining strong communication with buyers post-purchase decisions and actively participating in weekly team meetings to provide status updates, identify issues, and collaboratively resolve them across departments to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Inputs, updates, and utilizes data in the Company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to drive sales activities in assigned communities.
  • Explains and processes sales documentation for prospective buyers, including completing the purchase agreement.
  • Works collaboratively with other departments and individuals to ensure a seamless process from model home setup to sale close and home delivery.
  • Actively participates in traffic driving efforts, including follow-up calls, coordinating, and hosting events.
  • Performs necessary follow-up to ensure successful closing of sales in assigned communities.
  • Travels to onsite corporate offices weekly to attend division sales rallies and other corporate events.
  • Effectively discusses and explains the home building and home buying process to buyers, ensuring they feel knowledgeable and comfortable.
  • Proactively communicates and responds professionally and timely to all external and internal stakeholders to drive sales.
  • Prepares weekly update reports of prospective customer traffic to management.
  • Develops knowledge of competitor policies, programs, pricing, and products, as well as consumer demographics, to define key differentiators for assigned communities and provides feedback to management.
  • Monitors and conducts regular visits to competitors to complete competitive market analysis (CMAs), providing feedback to management on market changes.
