New Grad Urgent Care Physician Assistant (3 day work week)
About The Position
TotalCare Walk-In Clinic is a multi-specialty medical group offering services in internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, urgent care, and medical aesthetics. They are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant for their Irvine clinic. The group comprises a highly collaborative team of 25 providers across 8 locations and fosters a supportive environment for both new graduates and experienced providers, focusing on care for underserved communities in Southern California. The role provides a strong foundation in primary care and urgent care, with opportunities for hands-on experience with common procedures. The Medical Director facilitates weekly provider meetings for feedback, case discussions, and sharing clinical research. A team of 6 MDs, each with over 30 years of experience, rotates through offices and offers in-person or phone clinical support during all shifts. The position includes structured onboarding with physician mentorship and a dedicated training period, a team-based coverage model ensuring no solo provider shifts, strong clinical support staff, and a collaborative workplace culture. A $20,000 sign-on bonus and performance-based incentives are offered. The schedule consists of three weekday shifts (8:00 AM–8:00 PM) and one weekend shift every other week (9:00 AM–5:00 PM), allowing for extended weekends on alternating weeks. The role has no call duties or clinical inbox responsibilities, as administrative tasks are handled by a separate support team.
