About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. The Registered Nurse (RN) is an exemplary for compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy honoring nursing as a distinct discipline and supporting an environment focused on healing and wellness. As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc. The process involves applying to this job posting, completing the interview process (if selected), and completing all onboarding and employee health requirements for BHLex.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky
  • Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university
  • Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
