This position is for a New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) in the Milford Regional Emergency Department, participating in a Transition to Practice Orientation Program for newly licensed nurses. The program aims to support the professional growth and development of newly licensed nurses under the guidance of nursing education and leadership teams. Opportunities are available for positions within the Emergency Department starting in August 2026. The program requires commitment to 32-40 hours/week for the first four weeks of orientation. Over the first three months and beyond, nurses will complete specialized courses including dysrhythmia interpretation, acute care nursing, and advanced life support (ACLS), pediatric life support (PALS), and neonatal resuscitation (NRP) as appropriate to the specialty. Key components of the program include Clinical Connections for periodic check-ins with Staff Educators and Professional Development Days for networking, emotional support, team building, and addressing essential topics for continued growth.
