About The Position

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. This is a Full Time, Nights role that provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis and unit level. The role is responsible for the supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the CNO to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (ARC or AHA) on hire.
Must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
For RN in Behavioral Health: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into department.
Dialysis Department: In addition to Basic Life Support, ACLS (AHA) must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the unit.
Behavioral Health Unit: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention for Behavioral Health must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.

Nice To Haves

2 years in acute care for Med/Surg
2 years in psychiatric facility for Behavioral Health
2 years acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis
