About The Position

This is a full-time position for a New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) on the Neurosciences Unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus. The unit is a 28-bed facility recognized for its advanced stroke care and Pathway to Excellence designation. The team provides care for patients with various neurological conditions including stroke, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, and Guillain-Barré syndrome. The unit includes six Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) rooms and three Intermediate Care beds. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
