About The Position

Corona Regional Medical Center is hiring New Graduate Registered Nurses for their Intermediate Care Unit (PCU) program. This program is designed for RN New Graduates and includes 12 weeks of didactics, hands-on learning, and clinical preceptorship. Both Day and Night shifts will be available. The position is located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. The hospital is a 238-bed community hospital network and is certified by The Joint Commission. The role reports to the Director of Critical Care Services and involves accountability for all aspects of adult and geriatric patient care using the Nursing Process and adhering to the State of California Nurse Practice Act. The position is also responsible for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal patient outcomes in the ICU and for the supervision of nursing personnel.

Requirements

  • Active California RN License required
  • Current BLS (AHA) required
  • ACLS (AHA) required within 90 days of start
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire required

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Arrhythmia Certificate or 12-Lead EKG Certificate preferred
