About The Position
This position is for a New Grad Nurse RN working Med-Surg on the Nights shift. The program includes nursing orientation, preceptorship training, and a 12-month Nurse Residency program designed to support a successful transition into professional practice. This residency includes interactive monthly classes to help apply coursework knowledge to real patient situations. The hospital is seeking nursing students who are currently in an RN program and have already graduated or will be graduating in Spring 2026. The New Grad Nurse Recruiter will discuss available positions, followed by a phone screening and interviews with clinical managers in areas of interest. Job shadow opportunities are also provided.
Requirements
- Graduated or graduating from an accredited ADN/BSN or MSN degree nursing program
- Temporary/Permanent nursing license to practice in Louisiana OR Multistate License as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
