Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated New Equipment Senior Project Manager to oversee coordination of activities on multiple new equipment installation projects. The New Equipment Project Manager will ensure efficiency, cost containment, and customer satisfaction on multiple new construction projects. This role involves ensuring flawless execution of each project by completing on schedule, within budget, and ensuring all technical & safety standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and customer expectations are met. The position also requires delivering first-in-class customer service and adhering to Otis’ Absolutes. The role coordinates all contract activities from project award to customer handover and financial close, working closely with sales and field operations to ensure installations align with contract documents and project scope. Regular progress updates are provided to branch, regional, and senior leadership. Proactive communication with general contractors, owners, building managers, architects, designers, and regulatory agencies is essential. The role involves construction process duties such as managing billing, payments, vendor load-up, receivables, processing RFIs, optimizing change orders, and maximizing project cash coverage. Accurate interpretation of construction contractual documents and contract modifications, and the ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings are critical. The position also requires accurate situation analysis and assistance in developing contingency estimates.
