About The Position

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a New Equipment Installer (Technician) to join our team to support our customer, Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT). This is a remote position. The role involves providing field support services related to the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of systems and subsystems, specifically conducting the installation of PNT systems on various combat vehicles. The technician will also facilitate higher-level repair of equipment, ensure support equipment and tools are calibrated and maintained, and distinguish between hardware and software problems during equipment checks.

Requirements

Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Four (4) years of total experience testing of electronic equipment, to include; two (2) years of testing and troubleshooting of electronic subsystem installations in military systems experience.
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the maintenance of Abrams, Bradley, JLTV, HEMMT, FMTV, and HMMWVs preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides field support services related to the installation, troubleshooting and repair of systems and subsystems.
Conducts installation of PNT systems on combat vehicles to include but not limited to Abrams, Bradley, JLTV, HEMMT, FMTV and HMMWVs.
Facilitates higher level repair of equipment.
Ensures support equipment and tools are regularly calibrated and maintained.
Troubleshoot related product malfunctions.
Install, modify, wire, fabricate and maintain systems.
Distinguish between hardware and software problems during equipment checks.
