About The Position

The Cyber Assurance role supports the organization’s cybersecurity risk, compliance, and assurance activities. This position is designed for recent graduates who want to build a foundation in cyber risk management, control assurance, audits, and regulatory compliance. The role works closely with cybersecurity, IT, internal audit, legal, and business stakeholders to help ensure security controls are designed, implemented, and operating effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or graduating within the last 12 months).
  • Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles (risk, controls, least privilege, defense‑in‑depth).
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and ethically.
  • BA/BS in Information Technology or related field from an accredited university.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong interest in learning the latest exploits, tactics, techniques and procedures, vulnerability remediation and security trends in Cloud implementations.
  • Self-motivated individuals with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the passion and appetite to learn newer technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship/volunteer experience in related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain security documentation, procedures, and audit evidence.
  • Support internal audits, customer inquiries, and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with IT, Facilities, Legal, HR, and Global Security teams.
  • Support cybersecurity risk assessments and risk register updates.
  • Assist in documenting policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Help respond to customer security questionnaires and compliance inquiries.
  • Support regulatory and certification activities (e.g., ISO, SOC, customer audits).
  • Work with IT, Security Operations, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, and Physical Security teams.
  • Support alignment between technical controls and documented requirements.
  • Participate in security awareness and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in aligning physical security technologies with IT and cybersecurity standards.
