We are seeking a highly motivated New Client Coordinator to join our dynamic team at the Illinois Hammer Injury Law Firm. With a team of experienced attorneys, we are dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to our clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to justice and ensuring that injury victims receive the compensation they deserve. As an Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking legal representation for personal injury and workers compensation cases. Your primary responsibility will be to gather essential information from potential clients, evaluate the merit of their cases, and ensure they receive the assistance they need to start their legal process effectively.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong sense of empathy
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Prior law firm experience is preferred
  • additional education or certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails from potential clients promptly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and understanding while discussing sensitive personal injury and workers compensation matters.
  • Conduct initial consultations to gather information about the potential client's case.
  • Assess the viability of the potential case by evaluating the facts and circumstances surrounding the injury or accident.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to determine the merit of claims.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, case details, and relevant documents.
  • Complete intake forms and paperwork required for new clients, ensuring all client data is confidential and handled in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Provide information to potential clients about the legal process and the services offered by the firm.
  • Offer guidance and resources to potential clients regarding medical treatment and documentation.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to streamline the intake process and maintain open communication.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on procedures and changes.
