About The Position

Steele Buick GMC is seeking an exceptional New Car Sales Manager to help lead their dealership into its next phase of growth and success. Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of automotive sales experience
  • Previous leadership experience in a dealership environment
  • Proven success driving sales performance and achieving targets
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations and profitability
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching abilities
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous New Car Manager or Sales Manager experience
  • PBS DMS experience
  • Knowledge of vAuto and inventory management strategies
  • Experience with Auto Alert or equity mining platforms
  • Understanding of dealership KPIs and performance metrics

Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing New Vehicle Sales Team
  • Drive sales performance while maintaining a customer-first culture
  • Lead daily sales activities, performance management, and accountability
  • Monitor and improve dealership KPIs, conversion metrics, and profitability
  • Oversee inventory strategy, merchandising, pricing, and vehicle presentation
  • Support digital retailing initiatives and online sales performance
  • Partner with Finance, Fixed Operations, and Leadership teams to drive dealership success
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top automotive talent
  • Foster a positive, engaged, and performance-driven culture
