As a New Agency Business Advisor, you will become a trusted partner to new agency owners, helping them craft strong business plans, develop effective sales strategies, and implement best practices. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business consulting, sales leadership, or agency operations
  • Sharp analytical and strategic thinking skills with a focus on results
  • Outstanding communication, coaching, and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adept at managing several agency partnerships at once
  • Insurance experience and active P&C or Life & Health licenses (required)

Responsibilities

  • Guide new agency owners through the start-up journey, from licensing to successful business launch
  • Collaborate with owners to create customized strategies focused on sales, marketing, and customer retention
  • Offer practical support for recruiting, onboarding, and training agency staff
  • Track early agency performance, conduct regular reviews, and deliver targeted coaching for faster growth
  • Recommend operational enhancements, technology solutions, and optimized business processes
  • Train agency owners on Farmers products, underwriting guidelines, and emerging industry trends
  • Mentor and advise new agency owners, helping them overcome challenges and achieve long-term success
