About The Position

A New Accounts Representative supports new customers by processing new account paperwork quickly and accurately, confirming account eligibility, entering new account data in systems, and providing other account related assistance. It is critical that the potential customers' first experience is met with exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of SanMar Resale experience and be meeting all expectations
  • Ability to maneuver effectively and efficiently through all computer systems as trained
  • Flexible with change
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work with deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent organization, ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient typing and data entry skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to work as part of a team and be self-directed with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable with repetitive work and able to stay motivated

Responsibilities

  • Qualify potential or prospective customers to determine the nature of the business and ensure the account qualifies to do business with SanMar.
  • Identify the state resale requirements for each customer and provide customers with the appropriate paperwork.
  • Document pertinent information and enter data into multiple programs.
  • Consistently meet department expectations for productivity levels.
  • Effectively solve problems and find the best solution for both SanMar and the customer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: You`ll earn between $20.82 - $25.00 (WA, NJ); $19.05 - $22.88 (MN, NV, TX, VA); $18.32 - $22.00 (AZ, ID, FL MT, OH) on an hourly basis, depending on experience.
  • Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base salary.
  • Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.
