About The Position

SpecialtyRx is a fast-growing Long-Term Care pharmacy dedicated to delivering personalized, top-tier pharmaceutical care to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. We are seeking a Full-Time Remote New Accounts Data Entry Technician (Coder) to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and enjoys working collaboratively to support new facility onboarding. Candidates must reside and be eligible to work in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, or Virginia.

Requirements

  • Experienced Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Must reside and be eligible to work in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, or Virginia.

Nice To Haves

  • Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of FrameworkLTC or other EMR/pharmacy operating systems preferred.
  • Previous hospital, retail, or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter patient medication orders from provided new facility "trash runs".
  • Review and verify patient information for completeness and accuracy.
  • Run and maintain double faxes throughout the facility transition timeline.
  • Assist other SpecialtyRx locations with daily workload during downtime.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the pharmacy operating system.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate onboarding of new facilities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
