About The Position

Join an established team of 5 physicians and 13 APPs in an inpatient practice setting at Dell Seton Medical Center UT in Austin, Texas. This is an employed position within a nonprofit health system. You will lead comprehensive care delivery by directing the treatment and long-term management of diverse health conditions, ensuring every patient receives a personalized and effective care plan. You will also empower patients and families by translating medical jargon into actionable guidance, educating caregivers on treatment options and community resources to improve health literacy.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of Neurosurgery experience
