About The Position

This role is for a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Central Florida. The position is full-time and involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within an established neurosurgery team. The APP will have a high degree of autonomy and will manage a busy neurosurgery service, combining operative, neuro-ICU, trauma, and outpatient clinic care.

Requirements

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Experienced provider required.
• Prior surgical experience necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Prior neurosurgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a busy neurosurgery service.
• Participate in approximately three operative days per week, including cranial and spine cases.
• Perform bedside neuro-ICU and neurosurgical trauma procedures.
• Provide approximately two days per week of outpatient clinic care.
• Participate in shared call responsibilities.
