Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC or BE Neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute in Temple, Texas. General neurosurgery with sub-specialization in functional, epilepsy, and neuro-oncology is preferred. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded neurosurgery program in Texas with a strong reputation for clinical care, research, and education. The role includes serving as a mentor for residents, fellows, and medical students. The department boasts active clinical and translational research programs, along with numerous ongoing clinical trials. The position offers a competitive salary and a generous benefit package, including over five weeks of paid vacation, three weeks of paid CME days, and immediate health insurance eligibility. The Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor Scott & White Health (Central) features a fully accredited seven-year neurosurgery residency program and is the only academic Neurosurgery Department in Central Texas with ten full-time faculty members. It is situated within a major teaching hospital, a Level-I Trauma Center, and a Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The candidate will be eligible for faculty appointment in the affiliated medical school with academic rank commensurate with training and experience.
