About The Position

As our academic and clinical Neurosurgeon, you will become part of a highly respected team. You will join CHI Health, which is a member of CommonSpirit Health System – The Nations’ largest faith based health system. Every day you will provide comprehensive general and trauma neurosurgery services. You will have the opportunity to work with learners, residents and fellows from Creighton University School of Medicine. The Neuroscience Institute integrates leading medical experts in the subspecialties of neurology, neuroradiology, neuro-critical care, radiation oncology and neurosurgery to offer highly advanced care for patients with the most complex neurological disorders. To be successful in this role, you will be board eligible or board certified certified in Neurosurgery. This opportunity is well-suited for physicians passionate about providing comprehensive Neurosurgery services, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to collaboration. Requirements

MD or DO degree
BE/BC in Neurosurgery
Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska
DEA Certification
BLS

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive general and trauma neurosurgery services.
Work with learners, residents and fellows from Creighton University School of Medicine.
Assume Primary & Backup Call Shifts, Plus Inpatient Care at CUMC Bergan Mercy Hospital.
Cover Outpatient Clinic When on Backup Call.
Fulfill Interests in Clinical research.
Receive Academic Appointment Commensurate with Experience.
