Performs a full range of routine to complex neurological EEG studies, including Evoked Potentials (BAER, AER), EMU and bedside video EEG procedures in both inpatient and outpatient setting on adults and pediatric patients, or performs routine to complex Nerve Conduction studies, including Evoked Potentials (VER, BAER, SSEP) in outpatient setting, and assisting provider during EMG procedures as needed. In this role the Neuroscience Technologist will perform the following job duties: Perform a full range of routine to complex neurological EEG studies on adult and pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Conduct EEG procedures, including bedside video EEG monitoring and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) studies. Perform Evoked Potential testing, including Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER) and Auditory Evoked Response (AER) studies. Perform routine to complex Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) in the outpatient setting. Conduct Evoked Potential studies, including Visual Evoked Response (VER), Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER), and Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP). Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during Electromyography (EMG) procedures as needed. Provide high-quality neurodiagnostic testing while adhering to established clinical protocols and patient care standards.
