About The Position

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is seeking a Neuroradiologist to support its growing practice in Sarasota, Florida. The position offers an anticipated case mix of 70–80% neuroradiology and 20–30% general diagnostic radiology. The practice serves a growing health care system that is a stroke center of excellence and interprets examinations from seven local MRI scanners, including 1.5T and 3T systems. Radiologists can collaborate with RAF divisions across Florida to optimize their study mix. Procedures are not required, though the practice will accommodate radiologists who wish to maintain procedural proficiency. The role is part of a team-based practice alongside experienced subspecialists. The regular workday is 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Weekend duty averages approximately 10 days per year, with weekend shifts from 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The position includes competitive pay, bonus opportunities, voluntary per-click moonlighting on off weeks without a commitment to dedicated shifts, a full benefits package, and pre-tax salary deductions for education and business expenses. Partners receive 10 weeks of PTO. Dedicated staff handle licensing and credentialing needs. RAF is a Florida radiology practice serving health systems across the state. It emphasizes quality, subspecialty-level interpretations, and collaboration among radiologists. Its unified PACS aggregates sites into a smart worklist that distributes cases according to workload and expertise, and provides tools for remote consultation and communication with radiology assistant concierges and IT support. The practice also uses AI support tools for repetitive tasks and urgent-finding detection, as well as generative AI for impression generation in PowerScribe. The practice is locally and democratically led. RAF physicians teach at the University of South Florida Department of Radiology and staff the Florida State University College of Medicine in Sarasota, where they host medical students and residents. The position is based in Sarasota, a community known for its beaches, dining, arts and culture, shopping, natural beauty, and year-round warm weather.
