About The Position

Join a collaborative practice of 11 radiologists within a physician-led, financially stable Mayo Clinic Health System. Practice within your neuroradiology subspecialty, along with general hospital and emergency imaging, allowing you to maintain subspecialty focus while staying engaged in a well-rounded practice. Work with a unified integrated EMR and PACS, and Mayo Clinic imaging protocols to balance workload and enhance efficiency across sites. Work a predictable daytime schedule (Monday–Friday). All after-hours coverage managed by a separate Mayo Clinic Health System radiology team. Consistent daily routine and clear separation between work and personal time. 5 weekends/year - shared weekend daytime coverage and no scheduled evenings or nights. Weekend shifts can be done remotely. Interpret studies in a dedicated individual reading office, located in a NEW (2024) state-of-the-art community hospital building with space designed to support focus, efficiency, and a high-quality reading experience. Leverage a combination of vended and internally developed AI tools to support workflow efficiency, prioritization, and diagnostic accuracy within daily practice. Participate in a high-functioning, team-based environment where technology, and physics support are designed to streamline workflow and support high-quality interpretation. Flexibility to tailor procedural involvement based on your interests. Option to perform a small volume of procedures including LP and myelogram, or more procedural volume based on individual interests and experience (including vertebral augmentation if desired). General fluoroscopy, paracentesis and thoracentesis are supported by a Radiology APP and there is no expectation to do breast imaging. Engage in a practice that supports broad clinical exposure and continued subspecialty skill development, with local advanced imaging and Mayo Clinic resources. Contribute to peer review, quality initiatives, and Mayo Clinic committee activities, with opportunities to influence practice standards and collaborate across the broader Mayo Clinic system. Practice in an efficient environment with a record of long-term sustainability, and strong collegial relationships with providers.

Requirements

  • Neuroradiology subspecialty focus
  • Ability to perform general hospital and emergency imaging
  • Familiarity with integrated EMR and PACS
  • Understanding of Mayo Clinic imaging protocols
  • Willingness to perform procedures like LP and myelogram (optional, based on interest)
  • Willingness to perform vertebral augmentation (optional, based on interest)
