About The Position
Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, just outside Albany, NY, is where doctors throughout New York and New England send their most challenging patients in need of world-class rehabilitation. We’re the only stand-alone hospital in upstate New York specializing in rehab and recovery. Our equipment and facilities are state-of-the-art. Our team of rehabilitation physicians, nurses, neuropsychologists, and therapists all have expertise in the field of physical and cognitive rehabilitation. The Neuropsychology Department of Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is currently accepting applications for a full-time clinical neuropsychologist. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package including an annual stipend for continuing education and funding for the board certification process.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or clinical neuropsychology.
- 2 year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology.
- Eligible for diplomate in clinical neuropsychology from American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
- NY State License.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in specialty programs including Brain Injury and Stroke.
Responsibilities
- Neuropsychological services to both inpatient and outpatient adult and pediatric neurological populations within a JCAHO/CARF accredited acute rehabilitation hospital serving upstate NY and beyond.
- Assessment, with opportunities for clinical research through the James A. Eddy Memorial Foundation Research Institution.
- Provision of training and supervision to doctoral level graduate students.
