Up to a $1,000 Sign-On-Bonus Available We are looking to add a Neurophysiology Technologist at Baptist Hospital, located in Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN Nights opportunity. As the Neurophysiology Technologist, you will perform Electroencephalogram (EEG) studies. At Baptist , we specialize in advanced neurodiagnostic care, offering innovative technology and services such as long-term epilepsy monitoring, intraoperative neuromonitoring, and epilepsy surgical support.
Requirements
- One-Two Years EEG Experience Required
- High School Diploma Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Nice To Haves
- Registered Neurophysiology Technologist (ABRET) Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing EEG studies.
- Working closely with Neurology to perform scheduled and unscheduled tests.
- Monitoring in-patient Video EEG for an uninterrupted, clean recording.
- Providing service education to staff and ancillary departments for the enhancement of patient care.
- Effectively understanding the goals and implications of the monitoring study, including impact on the patient's lifestyle.
