About The Position
Under the clinical supervision of the Medical Director for Neurophysiology and the overall supervision of the Neurophysiology Supervisor, the Neurophysiology Technologist performs neurodiagnostic studies, with the knowledge and ability to collect, assess, interpret and intervene as appropriate in care of pediatric, adult, geriatric, and critical care patients. This position requires a deep understanding of neurophysiology, technical proficiency with EEG equipment, and strong patient care skills.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Neurodiagnostics or related allied health field is required.
- R.EEG T. or R.PSG T. may substitute for required education
- BLS certification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Neurodiagnostics is required.
- Experience in a hospital setting, critical care preferred
