About The Position

The Department of Neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an experienced academic Neuromuscular Neurologist. Our neuromuscular sectin is active in clinical rsearch and internationally recognized for clinical excellence. We offer accredited fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine and autonomic disorders. We are seeking somone who will organize and monitor the clinical and educational activities of the neuromuscular service and coordinate clinical research activities. Additionally, this successful candidate will lead the intraoperative monitoring (IOM) service with responsibilities for developing the program. You will also pariticipate in the clinical practice of the UT Southwestern Neuromuscular Program. Requirements

  • Possess or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas
  • Board certified/board eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for adult or child neurology
  • Completed a 1-2 year fellowship in neuromuscular disorders

Responsibilities

  • Organize and monitor the clinical and educational activities of the neuromuscular service
  • Coordinate clinical research activities
  • Lead the intraoperative monitoring (IOM) service with responsibilities for developing the program
  • Participate in the clinical practice of the UT Southwestern Neuromuscular Program
