About The Position

BrainStim Centers, Inc., the premiere TMS Brain Health Center of Los Angeles, owned by neurosurgeon Dr. Mark Liker, is looking for a motivated professional to serve as a Neuromodulation Specialist, also referred to as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Specialist. The Neuromodulation Specialist will play a key role in accomplishing both long and short-term goals in patient health care plans by conducting neuromodulation treatments for non-pharmaceutical brain health care. This is a ground floor opportunity for someone looking for a full-time, long-term, in office growth role.

Requirements

Experience in direct patient care, psychology, neuroscience, or mental health.
Accurate and educated use of technological equipment.
Knowledge of medical, neurological, and psychiatric terminology.
Empathetic, reflective, and with the ability to communicate in a manner that de-escalates tense situations.
Collaborative in nature, team oriented.
Demonstrates creativity and flexibility in all aspects of job.
Problem solver, able to swiftly identify and address patient concerns.
Ability to set personal boundaries with patients.
Leadership skills and a growth mindset.
Technically proficient, able to adopt new technology.
Skill with EMR software program for office calendaring and storage of patient information.
3 years minimum work experience.

ABA experience is helpful

Responsibilities

Conducting neuromodulation treatments for non-pharmaceutical brain health care.
Performing direct patient care.
Providing proactive thoughtful patient care.
Accurate and educated use of technological equipment.
Thoughtful explanation of scientific procedures and protocols to patients.
Recording and compiling information on patient physical condition.
Monitoring patient physical and emotional well-being, communicating with physician and staff.
Understanding and articulating medical research.
Performing office tasks as needed.
Generating reports, may graph, calculate and compile data.
