About The Position

As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team. Every day you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience. Requirements

  • High School GED or Diploma
  • Satisfactory completion of a formal Licensed Vocational Nurse program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health Professions or military training that is equivalent to an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse program (Determination made by Dignity Health Medical Foundation H.R. department in conjunction with the State Division) of Allied Health Professions.)
  • Three (3) years experience in an outpatient setting as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
  • Current and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse: CA license (LVN:CA)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 coding procedures and reference tools, and pharmacology appropriate to the Licensed Vocational Nurse scope of practice is essential to this position
