About The Position

PAK Medical Group, PLLC is seeking a Neurology Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner to treat adults with neurological illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and general concerns. The role involves collecting and maintaining patient information, prescribing and administering treatments, examining patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and advising patients on health and disease prevention. The practitioner will explain procedures, discuss test results, monitor patient conditions, and direct healthcare teams. In-clinic procedures and research may also be part of the role. This position is 100% clinically focused on direct patient care, including patient-facing time and administrative tasks related to patient care. Innovacare participates in E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

  • Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner qualification
  • Experience treating adults with neurological illnesses
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to prescribe and administer medical treatments

Responsibilities

  • Treat adults who have neurological illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and general concerns in accordance with standards of care
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results adhering to HIPAA regulations
  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, and disease
  • Examine patients or order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical condition and determine diagnosis
  • Advise patients, and community members concerning diet, activity hygiene, and disease prevention
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients
  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary
  • Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff
  • Perform in-clinic procedures on patients to remove, repair, or improve functioning of diseased or injured body parts and systems
  • Conduct research to study anatomy and develop or test medications, treatments, or procedures to prevent or control disease or injury
  • Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient facing time and general administrative time (charting, meetings, etc.) as it relates to direct patient care
