About The Position

OSF Medical Group is seeking two BC/BE Neurologists to join a growing and collaborative neurology program serving Rockford, IL. This is an opportunity to join an expanding team currently consisting of two Neurologists and two Advanced Practice Providers. The role offers the chance to perform EMG testing and develop a practice based on individual interests and subspecialty expertise. Support outreach services in Dixon 1-2 days per week, while maintaining a primary practice presence in Rockford. Collaborate closely with Neurosurgery and the broader OSF Neurology Service Line, with opportunities to refer patients requiring advanced neurological and neurosurgical care. The position involves 36 hours of clinical time and 4 hours of administrative time per week. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexibility to accommodate physician preferences. This is a 100% outpatient practice with no inpatient responsibilities and no after-hour call requirements. Excellent support staff including physicians, APPs, nursing, and clinic personnel who function as a unified team. H1-B and J-1 visa candidates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
  • Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
