About The Position

Garnet Health Doctors is seeking a dynamic Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist to join our growing team at our state-of-the-art facilities in Middletown and Harris, New York. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice in a collaborative, physician-led environment while caring for a diverse patient population throughout the beautiful Hudson Valley and Catskills region. As part of Garnet Health Doctors, you will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered neurological care with access to advanced technology and comprehensive support services.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy required.
• NY State Medical License required.
• Board Certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine & Neurology required.
• NY State DEA required.
• Infection Control Certificate required.
• Current Opioid Prescriber Training Certificate required.
• Current Infectious Certificate required.
• Travel to multiple facilities is required.
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships, to work well under pressure, to organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks.
• Possesses critical thinking, analytical skills and flexibility.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Required detailed attention to work in an environment where interruptions cannot be controlled.
• Demonstrates sensitivity to customer needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Practice at a DNV-Certified Primary Stroke Center with after-hours tele-stroke support
• Opportunity to practice within a Comprehensive Stroke Center network
• Participate in the education and mentorship of residents through our Neurology Residency Program
