About The Position

A well-established healthcare organization in Florida is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join its outpatient neurology team. This opportunity is focused on general outpatient neurology, providing evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management for patients with a broad range of neurological conditions.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
Active Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure.
DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative outpatient environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose patients presenting with a variety of neurological conditions.
Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Manage common outpatient neurological conditions, including headaches, epilepsy, neuropathy, movement disorders, and other neurological disorders.
Order and interpret appropriate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
Provide ongoing management and follow-up for patients with chronic neurological conditions.
Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient response.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and disease management.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide high-quality, patient-centered outpatient neurological care.
