About The Position

Munson Healthcare Neurology, in Traverse City, MI, is seeking an excellent BE/BC Neurologist to join their growing team. The practice currently consists of eight Neurologists and two Physician Assistants with varied expertise within neurology. The ideal candidate is attracted to a busy outpatient practice with a positive work environment and interested in becoming a vital part of the neurosciences team. This is a hospital-employed, outpatient, general neurology position with the option to include a subspecialty focus. The practice is fully staffed with excellent clinical and clerical members and supports a neuro-hospitalist inpatient team. The position involves 1:10 in-house, weekend call (7am-7pm, with following Monday off) and 4 in-house, weekday/year call (7am-7pm). Outreach opportunities are available in Cadillac, Petoskey, and Manistee, Michigan. The EHR system used is Oracle Health (Cerner).

Requirements

Board certified or board eligible.
MI license or eligible for medication licensure in the State of Michigan.
Completion of an ACGME approved neurology residency or its equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized, exceptional care to patients as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.
Participate in a 1:10 in-house, weekend call rotation (7am-7pm).
Participate in 4 in-house, weekday/year call rotations (7am-7pm).
Engage in outreach activities in Cadillac, Petoskey, and Manistee, Michigan.
Support the neuro-hospitalist inpatient team.
Potentially include a subspecialty focus within general neurology.
