About The Position
We are actively recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a thriving and respected healthcare organization in Shelton, Connecticut. This is a full-time, direct hire role offering clinical autonomy, strong referral support, and a stable practice environment.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with completion of Neurology residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Connecticut
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship training in subspecialties (optional but welcomed – e.g., epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of neurological disorders (e.g., headaches, seizures, stroke, MS, neuropathies, etc.)
- Perform and interpret EMGs, EEGs, and other neurodiagnostic studies (if applicable)
- Collaborate with referring primary care physicians and specialists
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using EMR
- Minimal or no hospital call (depending on structure)
