About The Position
Independent Practice – Mesquite Neurology, Dr. Lutfi Basatneh is seeking a Neurologist for their practice located at 1320 North Galloway Ave, #101, Mesquite, TX 75149. This is a full-time position in a traditional practice setting, combining outpatient and inpatient care. The role involves supporting a hospital guarantee and working within a team. The practice utilizes EPIC EMR in the hospital and serves a diverse patient population with a significant percentage of Spanish-speaking patients. The payor mix is 30% Medicare, 30% Medicaid, and 40% private/commercial.
Requirements
- BC/BE Neurology MD/DO
- Eligible for New Grads (2026)
- No visa sponsorships
Nice To Haves
- Spanish speaking ability is a plus due to a large percentage of Spanish-speaking patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient and inpatient neurological care.
- Participate in a 1:4 call schedule (7 days/month).
- Take one week of inpatient call from Dr. Basatneh's allocated weeks.
- Work with EPIC EMR system in the hospital.
