About The Position

The Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist on a PRN basis. The Division of Pediatric Neurology currently includes seven faculty members and four advanced practice providers (APPs) and offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient clinical services at MUSC Children’s Hospital. MUSC’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center is designated as a Level IV epilepsy center, the highest designation awarded by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers - providing multidisciplinary diagnostic and treatment services for patients ranging from infancy through young adulthood. Adult patients receive care through MUSC Hospital. The MUSC Neurophysiology Lab features a comprehensive suite of accredited services, including EEG, EMG, intraoperative monitoring, and intracranial and extracranial vascular imaging, all integrated within the Level IV Epilepsy Center. Additional specialty services include speech-language pathology and neuropsychology, along with advanced diagnostic capabilities such as inpatient and outpatient video EEG monitoring. Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) with Special Qualification in Child Neurology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina
