About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Neurohospitalist in St. Louis, MO. The role involves providing inpatient neurological consultations, managing stroke patients, and performing nerve conduction studies and EMG as needed. The physician will also supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and work a 7-on, 7-off shift schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM. The coverage is clinical only and ongoing, starting ASAP. The average daily patient volume is 10-15.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active MO License or Universal License (IMLC)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Epic EMR system
Responsibilities
- Provide neurological consultations for inpatients.
- Manage stroke patients and participate in stroke codes.
