About The Position

BayCare Medical Group is seeking a General Neurohospitalist to provide coverage at St. Anthony’s Hospital, a 426-bed facility certified as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, with plans on becoming a comprehensive stroke center in 2027. The role involves providing inpatient neurology care, including new consults, follow-up visits, and related patient calls. The physician will join a growing team of 4 Neurohospitalists with the support of 2 APPs and practice exclusively at one hospital location. The position also includes collaboration with BayCare Medical Group’s outpatient Neurology team and tele-stroke service coverage of stroke alerts. Candidates should be comfortable managing a broad range of neurological conditions and interpreting EEGs.

Requirements

Board Certification/Board Eligibility by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.

Responsibilities
