About The Position

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist New Grad is responsible for monitoring/recording neurodiagnostic patients, checking the integrity of the electrodes, and communicating with the physician and nurse of changes in patient status. Requirements

  • None required.
  • High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
  • Enrollment in an accredited Neurodiagnostic Program and/or continuing ASET approved Neurodiagnostic education.
  • Ability to effectively communicate pertinent clinical data accurately and consistently with the physician team and leadership.
  • Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards and respects; advance care through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC’s mission: and understand and exceed customer expectations, effectively solve complex patient care and organizational problems, role model positive and professional behavior.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered EEG Technologist - must be obtained within one (1) year of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of pediatric health care experience.
  • Associate degree.
  • Bilingual in English/ Spanish.
