Job Posting Title: Neurodiagnostic Technologist Location: Dallas - Hospital Additional Posting Details: PRN, as needed Monday - Friday 0630am - 5pm as needed Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Helps set up monitoring equipment while assuring patient safety. Communicates effectively with team members. Performs routine testing under supervision; writes a descriptive technical analysis. Has hospital training to alert supervisor and/or activate hospital system such as rapid response, cardiac arrest, etc… per established protocols when encountering patient clinical issues. Communicates with team members. Exhibits additional critical thinking skills. Assists in development of and monitoring of adherence to policies and procedures for department. Recognize changes and communicate such with team as specified in the departmental policy and procedure manual. Performs routine, as well as more advanced testing; recognizes clinically significant events and patterns. Able to provide teaching and training for other ND technologists. Assists those who are not credentialed for board examination. Able to apply electrodes and obtain high-quality waveforms Independently. Able to troubleshoot common problems in IONM recordings. Performs routine as well as more advanced testing; recognizes clinically significant events and patterns. Follows policy and Procedures regarding critical test results. Communicates with team members. Able to write technical descriptive analysis. And other duties assigned. Supervision – Works under general technical supervision. Works under supervision of interpreting physician provider who can be immediately present either electronically or in person.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ND program.
  • CNIM Certification required
  • Meets all requirements and qualifications as specified in IONM Neurodiagnostic Tech I in the ND field which includes an additional three (3) years of experience in advanced modality: IONM setting.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in advanced modality: IONM setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Science is preferred.
  • R. EEG T/R. EP T. preferred
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
