About The Position

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist PD is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic studies on infants and children which include monitoring equipment calibration and set-up. Technologists process documentation in order to provide accurate information to the physician.

Requirements

  • Minimum three months of direct patient care experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with completion or enrollment of Neurodiagnostic program or experience in an EEG Laboratory.
  • Able work in a team environment with the patience and understanding to work with the pediatric population.
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail.
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Registered EEG Technologist.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of pediatric experience.
  • Associate degree and completion of an accredited neurodiagnostic program.
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish.
