As our Neurodiagnostic Technologist Lead, you will supervise the day-to-day operations of the department, performing neurodiagnostic procedures and providing findings, results, and descriptive analysis as a credentialed specialist. Every day you will execute test setups, electrode application, ensure patient safety, and use your expertise to maintain department efficiency, workflow, and staff scheduling. You will also demonstrate exceptional customer relations, attention to detail, and organizational skills. To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced neurodiagnostic technical expertise, strong leadership and organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage daily operations, ensure patient safety, and maintain department efficiency and workflow while delivering precise neurodiagnostic analysis.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program.
  • Two (2) years experience in the neurodiagnostic field as a registered EEG Technologist.
  • Has passed examination and obtained the credential appropriate to the modality of practice (ie. R. EEG T. or R. EP T.).
  • Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree, or higher, from an accredited college or university.
  • One (1) year of leadership experience.
  • Has passed examination and obtained advanced certification credentials as appropriate to their modality of practice, i.e., IONM:CNIM, LTME:CLTM, REP:CREP.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively supervises day-to-day operation of department and staff.
  • Scores/graphs, analyzes, documents and reports results of diagnostic procedures.
  • Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
  • Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
  • Monitors and documents patient’s condition and responds to and reports any adverse reactions.
  • Maintains staffing, scheduling, and department efficiency.
  • Execute test setups, electrode application, ensure patient safety.
  • Maintain department efficiency, workflow, and staff scheduling.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer relations, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Manage daily operations, ensure patient safety, and maintain department efficiency and workflow while delivering precise neurodiagnostic analysis.
