The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I is responsible for monitoring and recording neurodiagnostic patients, checking the integrity of the electrodes, and communicating with the physician and nurse of changes in patient status. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Program
  • Ability to effectively communicate pertinent clinical data accurately and consistently with the physician team and leadership
  • Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission; and understand and exceed customer expectations, effectively solve complex patient care and organizational problems, role model positive and professional behavior
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must be board eligible to take Registered EEG Technologist. Registered EEG Tech must be obtained within one (1) year of hire date.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of pediatric health care experience
  • Associate degree
  • Bilingual in English/ Spanish
