This is a full-time, day-shift Neurodiagnostic Technologist role. This position includes rotating on-call responsibilities for weekends, overnights, and holidays. Primary duties include routine EEG placements and some ambulatory services at North Hospital, as well as covering a 2-bed epilepsy monitoring unit and EMGs in the clinic, with occasional floating to Fishers for coverage. The role involves preparing and providing neurophysiological testing and monitoring in the clinical, Neurotelemetry, and EMU settings according to departmental guidelines. The technologist will demonstrate knowledge/understanding of typical neurophysiological patterns, work with a moderate degree of supervision when recording and monitoring patient data, report findings, triage patient care needs when necessary, and maintain quality recordings with skilled troubleshooting techniques.
